A Chic London Celebration of Culture, Faith and Connection
It was a true honour to coordinate this chic London wedding, where every detail thoughtfully reflected the couple’s story, values, and shared life together.
From their deep-rooted faith and cultural traditions to their love for dogs, the day was filled with personal touches that made the celebration uniquely theirs. One of the memorable details of the day was the bride’s handmade napkin rings, lovingly crafted as a symbol of care and creativity. Guests were also treated to beautifully curated coffee favours, blending rich beans from Ethiopia and Colombia. A meaningful nod to the couple’s heritage and the way their lives had come together.
Adding to the thoughtful and playful elements of the day, the couple also prepared homemade tequila for their guests to enjoy as part of a fun “lock and key” game during the reception. A lively icebreaker that encouraged guests to mingle and connect during the evening.
The day began with a relaxed morning of bridal preparations, setting a calm and joyful tone for the celebrations ahead. This was followed by an intimate brunch shared with the bride’s family, her bridal party and friends, creating a wonderful start to the day.
Honouring Ethiopian wedding traditions, the celebrations continued with a joyful procession down Hackney Road as the bride and her loved ones made their way to the venue. The energy was unforgettable. Car horns, applause, and cheers from passersby joined the celebration, transforming the street into a spontaneous moment of collective joy.
The ceremony itself was a heartfelt reflection of the couple’s journey together. A beautiful tapestry of faith, commitment, and shared values that deeply resonated with their family and friends.
Their wedding day was also a celebration of connection and culture. With guests representing 21 nationalities, it was a beautiful reminder of how love brings people together from all corners of the world.
As evening approached, the celebration flowed effortlessly into a night of music and dancing. With their shared love for music, the couple curated a playlist that spanned genres and decades, ensuring the dance floor remained vibrant throughout the night.
Moments like these are a reminder that weddings are not just about beautiful settings or carefully chosen details. They are about bringing people together to celebrate love, culture, and community.
Seeing a couple surrounded by those who mean the most to them, as their vision comes to life, is always an incredible privilege.
